All facilities were clean and the onsen is nice because it is basically private. There is tea in the room and coffee in the mornings! The beds are also so comfortable.

Boasting an open-air hot spring bath and a garden, Mizunoto is situated a 22-minute drive away from Hakone Yumoto Station on the Odakyu Line and Lake Ashi. It features bright contemporary rooms, an on-site restaurant and bar. Free parking is available on site. We had such a great time staying at Mizunoto! Meals were fabulous - fantastic hot meals both in the morning and evenings that used seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed using the private onsen facilities at Mizunoto, which were easy to use and very appreciated after a long day of exploring Hakone. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed soaking in the view of the mountains from the tub on the balcony.
