The location was perfect for me - probably more on the entertainment side of the city rather than the business side, although access to transport was very quick and easy so nowhere was out of reach. Close to Chinatown, and a nice walk along the waterfront to other parts of the city. The hotel itself was modern and exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast was good quality, and varied.

We felt truly cared for, like guests in someone’s cherished home. Hakone Fura is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return.

Meals were fabulous - fantastic hot meals both in the morning and evenings that used seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed using the private onsen facilities at Mizunoto, which were easy to use and very appreciated after a long day of exploring Hakone. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed soaking in the view of the mountains from the tub on the balcony.
