Kofukan offers a hot spring bath, multi-course Japanese dinners, and Japanese-style rooms with views of Mount Myoko. The location was excellent! Easy to find... Even though the onsen hotel is a little dated but it was very clean and comfortable. We just loved the vibe and atmosphere... Just like being in a family home... we took the ensuite room... The owner and staff are very friendly and rendered superb service... he is very accommodating to our requests in transportation to and from the Akakura Ski Resort... It snowed the night we came in and everything turned really magical.... The owner recommended the resort for our 2 kids as they are just beginner level, took lessons too... but they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt skiing! They loved the onsen too... We loved the place and wouldn't think twice to stay again...truly... Great memories... Recommended...
