We could see tranquil atmosphere of Amagase onsen village with wall-like mountain alongside the river. Kaiseki dinner was fantastic. We could see true Japanese hospitality here. The ryokan has family rooms. This was my first time staying in a traditional Japanese hotel and I loved every moment. The location is incredibly scenic. Dinner was delicious and huge, served in private rooms for each guests. We especially enjoyed the private hot tubs. I couldn’t believe our room it’s own onsen until I saw it! The staff was nice. Room was clean and spacious.
