The hospitality was so good. They treated us like their own. The room was large and very clean as expected. The private and public onsens were so relaxing and beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were probably the 2 best meals we had in our lives. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone!

One of the nicest and cleanest traditional Japanese hotels I've seen. Everything in the room seemed either new or exceptionally well maintained. The gentleman running both the check-in desk and breakfast kitchen was very kind and helpful.

A 15-minute walk from Ito Train Station, Yokikan offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a satellite TV. Everything! You will not find a more authentic Japanese experience than this inn! I wish we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately it rained for two days straight… so our sightseeing was cut short…. But staying here totally made the trip worth while!! From the welcome at reception, to the amazing view from our room and everything in between… it was perfect. We stayed in a room with a hot spring bath in the bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were delivered to our room. The “kitchen” staff were gorgeous! The futons were comfortable, and everything was spotless. We tried the open air bath at night. Such a different experience in the rain. Sitting in a warm bath, under the roof, listening to the rain falling! It was so peaceful. The owners are very kind and gracious. They are the 5th generation of the family to own the ryokan. They even offered us a lift to the station in the morning and helped us with an issue that we had with our tickets. I am definitely returning in the future!

Located right in front of the ocean, Gardenvilla Shirahama features accommodations with ocean views and free Wi-Fi. We stayed 2 nights in a beautiful room with sea view. All the facilities are modern and clean. Very spacious building. Infinity pool. You book a slot for private Onsen looking over the sea. Absolutely beautiful. We rent an E-bikes ¥1000 per day to get around the beautiful town. Staffs were so helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. We wish we stayed longer!

We had a very friendly and exceptionally helpful reception upon arrival by the owners of the property. The retreat hotel is very nice and comfortable, especially also the integrated sauna. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very also got great support for sightseeing at Mount Fuji and to take the train to our next destination.

The service is impeccable, Taiyo-san is thoughtful & provides great service. The dinner & breakfast is outstanding. All drinks are free! The Onsen in the room is great. Love it. Highly recommend.
