Everything is well planned and explained. You can get hot and cold water, or buy some food from the freezer and cook it using available microwaves. There is selection of cold drinks you can buy as well. You can get a yukata and some travel items for free (ear plugs, razors etc). Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice coffee and fresh bread in the morning. I used private bath and it was a very nice experience. If you are traveling with child you will feel comfortable here as well. I would highly recommend this place to other travelers.

On the contrary, the hotel is near-next door to the Shrines and Temples of Nikko World Heritage Site, perfect location alongside the Tobu Bus - Shinkyo bus stop which enables you to head into Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Falls and Mt Nantai. The hotel has family rooms. The facility was very nice and seemed to be recently renovated. The location is very convenient - close to a bus stop and to Heiki no Sato. The room was spacious, clean and bright - very comfortable. We enjoyed the private bath. Although it was described as indoor, we were delighted to find that it had full-length windows looking out onto nature so it felt out door to us! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. :)

We had a spacious, comfortable room with a beautiful view of Lake Chuzenji, and also had breakfast and dinner covered within our package. Food was great with huge selection at breakfast. Loved the an pan croissant at breakfast and also the beef we had on our 2nd night. A great big thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay great - advice on hiking in Senjogohara based on the weather conditions were much appreciated, as well as help with the bus timings. Although the place is slightly dated, it is well maintained and comfortable for a stay with spots in Okunikko easily accessible as it is right next to the bus stop.
