Had a fantastic stay at this new Hotel. The hotel lobby is accessible directly from an elevator in Aomori station. Rooms are spacious, comfy and have a modern look. The facility offers extensive wellness activities including public and private (at an extra cost) Onsen.

Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring nằm ở Aomori, cách Di tích Sannai-Maruyama 6 km và Suối nước nóng Tsuta 43 km. Absolutely loved the public bath on the rooftop. It was so refreshing to have part of it outside and an actual ice cold bath. Cute to have the peepholes with shutters so you could look outside while no one could look inside. The inside bath made my skin supersmooth. Nice dry sauna. Cool idea to have shower baskets with shampoo and conditioner for specific hairtypes to choose from. There was also a magnificent massage chair 👌 the extras like ice cream and free ramen were also appreciated. Loved how they decorated it with traditional Aomori Nebuta made by a local famous artist. They had tourist information on their tv which was really helpful. Room was small but everything was there, even space to hang your clothes to dry after washing them for free. Breakfast was abundant and well taken care of with a lot of diversity. Staff were all very helpful and kind. The apple juice was delicious ❤️ This hotel is worth going to Aomori for!

Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They allowed me to check in early and even let me use the onsen in the afternoon after checkout.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Okawaso offers accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. It’s a beautiful hotel nestled into the hillside by the river. The reception area is amazing, especially with the Shamisen lady is playing. The traditional rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.

The private onsen was great, beautiful outlook onto the snow, water not too hot. Staff very friendly and accommodating to our very poor Japanese - google translate worked well for us all!

Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. This traditional Japanese hotel offered excellent service and wonderful food. The meal was the highlight of our trip to Aizuwakamatsu! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive to us.

If only I could rate the hotel more than a 5 star, I will. 1. The owner/host both are so accommodating, helpful and is super kind. I experiences the real Japan omotenashi (hospitality) thru them. Especially the lady owner, she goes a long way to make your stay comfortable and as convenient as it is. She even help call a reservatuon for taxi. 2. The accommodation feels homey. Clean, comfortable and spacious. I slept in a Japanese style room that has futon and Kotatsu. The kotatsu is so comfortable that you dont want to get off them. The Heating is also excellent so the room is warm. 3. The room is equipped with air cleaner, fridge, tv & there is also available himidifier that you can use if needed. Basic amenities are provided too and a yukata. There is a common toilet on the second floor and so as the basement. Microwave is also available for use if you warm your food and the owner can lend you plates and utensils. 4. The nearest onsen is 3 minutes by foot and the owner will give you the 100¥ coupon discount if you use the nearest day onsen spa. 5. The location is perfect just a minute walk to the main ropeway station that’ll take you to the snow monster. 5 minutes walk to the convenience store, 7 minutes walk to the bus terminal and has few good restaurants around. 6. The breakfast is also delicious and hearty. The hotel has big dry room for your ski/snowboard gears and cheaper ski lift tickets if you buy from the hotel. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back again next winter season.
