Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Takayama Shirakawa Go ligger i Takayama, 38 km fra Hida Folk Village og 39 km fra Takayama Station. Dette hotel har 3 stjerner. The location seems a bit strange at first, but in the morning you can see all the beautiful rice paddies outside! Absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The room itself was spacious enough for two, with good bed and big TV. Staff was attentive, you could buy snacks in the lobby since there are no combinis nearby. We only stayed one night but it seemed like a really nice hotel, even though it’s in the middle of nowhere - but since we were coming by car, it was not a problem.

This is the perfect hotel for families with kids, the rooms have everything you need and very spacious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we arrived on a wet rainy day, the staff helped us dry our bags and ourselves on arrival.

Fairfield by Marriott Mie Kumano Kodo Mihama ligger i Mihama, 10 km fra Ubuta Shrine og 11 km fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha. We were genuinely quite surprised at how nice this hotel was. Visiting as part of a three week tour for our honeymoon, we stayed in 9 hotels, and some swanky ones costing almost 10x this per night. Somehow I remember this over most of them. Value for money, this was the best out of them all. Service was amazing (obviously, it's Japan). The reception, halls and rooms were mostly made out of wood and with the lighting low and moody, it was a very chilled and relaxing place to be. The bed was gigantic, and the amenities in the room just what you need - really good shower with good shampoo and gel, mirrors, water, tea & coffee with a kettle, pj's etc. In addition, there's a communal area on the ground floor with a fridge containing frozen fresh soups (didn't try), and a microwave, kettle, and all of the utensils for dinner in a kitchen area nearby. It's on a main-ish road but we couldn't hear any noise at all in case you have concerns. There's no restaraunt here but they offer bento boxes for breakfast. I'd highly recommend the Benkei restaraunt over the road for some extremely nice Ramen!

Property offers private Onsen, you can reserve your 45 min slot upon checking in and pay for your time. 3. It's only about 14 min walk to Onsen Temple(温泉寺) with climbing steps， or 5 min drive to a parking above the temple. You can see the most beautiful fall colors in and around 温泉寺， it was so pretty that we forgot to go back hotel for checking out on time, owner still greeted us with smile together with his little boy，for that we are very grateful 4.Property was built about five years ago, very new, everything's perfect 5.Owner speaks both Japanese and Chinese Highly recommend this property.
