Everything is super well thought out, modern and yet full of tradition. It is intimate with 5 rooms and in an Meiji era home with a beautiful neighborhood of similar structures. The Italian restaurant several doors down is also excellent.

Excellent location, right next to the station and bus terminal. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Larger bathroom and bathtub compared to other similar standard Japanese chain hotels. Great breakfast with allergens listed on food which made it easier for vegetarians. Plenty of options for vegetarians which was good to find in Japan. Great stay, would stay again if I was in Tokushima.

Everything! Welcome sudachi drink, amenities were totally fantastic. Especially there was a shampoo bar in the large communal bath. Also staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, breakfast buffets were awesome.

The hotel was easily accessible by public transport, locally or to / from the airport. The hot tubs on the top floors are a delight! I had a spacious Japanese style room overlooking the beach and out to sea, perfect for my last night in Japan. Women have a choice of yukata and there are plenty of drinks available in hotel lounge, though as the season slows, they maybe need.more attention to maintain supply. The evening buffet was diverse, plentiful, delicious and very welcome since there was nowhere locally for a snack or lunch. I had great help from a member of staff who spoke excellent English and found and organised a very straightforward (but not obvious) solution for getting me to the airport. Other staff either didn't know about it or couldn't explain and my Japanese wasn't nearly good enough to work it out.
