Staff is very nice and made us feel welcomed and confortable. Lidia the manager, Helen and their chef are all equally wonderful. Lidia showed me how to make Kachumbari and the Chef made the best Beef Pilau we've ever had. Thank you for sharing! Helen is always friendly with a bright smile to greet you. Location is off the main road and is manageable without a car and even better with. As an American visitor I would say this is a outstanding value without sacrifice. We really enjoyed our stay at the Eco Lodge, particularly all the freshly cooked food from the locally grown fruit & veg. The chef also prepared a special dinner for us with ugali. We also booked day trips to Tsavo East and West with them - both long days but with plenty of animals, including birds, to see. We had a very friendly driver (Robert) and the lunch pack was genorouse (one pack would have been enough for the two of us). The rooms are basic but very clean and in a lovely green surrounding.
