It feels like a magic garden: full of beautiful trees and flowers. There’s a swimming pool right above the ocean. Everything is really clean, the room is really nice, breakfast is good, we just had one dinner and it was good (but if you want to try swahili fish dishes go in the center of Watamu, where the T junction is: it’s great!). We really enjoyed our stay, the whole staff is great and helpful at any time. The wifi wasn’t working in our room (probably one of the farthest from the reception), but in the common areas and garden it works perfectly. You can easily find a tuk tuk or a motorcycle at the gate ready to pick you up. Thank you, We’ll be back for sure, hopefully soon.

Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool. Probably the best place to stay in Kilifi for the price/value ratio. The common areas are awesome, the pool and the view from the restaurant terrace are great. Staff is lovely, food is great, all in all a great place to spend time in Kilifi!

Casaurina Lounge exceeded my expectations on most points. Staff is very nice and made us feel welcomed and confortable. Fred the room cleaner/and seems to do that and much more is very creative and detailed in all that he oversee's and exceeds in doing his best to make you feel glad that you stayed here. Lidia the manager, Helen and their chef are all equally wonderful. Lidia showed me how to make Kachumbari and the Chef made the best Beef Pilau we've ever had. Thank you for sharing! Helen is always friendly with a bright smile to greet you. Location is off the main road and is manageable without a car and even better with. As an American visitor I would say this is a outstanding value without sacrifice. They will take care of your needs and appreciate you and your stay with them, making it stress free and pleasant! ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️ Asante Sana! 💖

On 200 metres of sandy beach and direct in the Watamu National Marine Park, Turtle Bay is one of Kenya’s most extensive all inclusive hotels. The location is spectacular, right on the beach. The hotel staff (and nature guides!) are super professional, attentive, and helpful. The all inclusive buffets are good value, and if you want more luxurious dishes or nicer specialty drinks, they're available a la carte.
