During my trip to Polonnaruwa, my car broke down in Habarana, forcing me to stay overnight. I booked a room at Gabaa Resort, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the unexpected situation. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The treehouses were incredible. Good powered showers and beautiful netting for beds. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. It was still great even though it rained continuously!

Sevanagama is located in Habarane. Rooms feature rustic Sri Lankan-style décor and free WiFi access is available at all public areas of the country house. Guest can also dine at the on-site... Beautiful property slightly out of the fray. Nice and quiet, great for relaxation. Wildlife is nice and close.

We upgraded to the A-frame tree house with a private pool a few days before arrival, and it was the best decision. The pool was the perfect size to cool off for our family of five. We loved our stay here. While this hotel might be a bit further from Sigiriya, they organised a driver in a safari jeep to take us where we needed to go. We also went on a game drive to a nearby national park, which was amazing; we saw so many elephants. You can walk into some local shops as well. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and both were really good—best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka.

Very warm welcome from the staff and beautiful grounds and buildings. The room was spacious and clean as was the ensuite. The food was beautiful, we had curry and rice for dinner and a quaint English breakfast of toast, marmalade and eggs. The soft juices served on arrival and at breakfast would be enough to make me want to return.

He was the sweetest. He akkoord us to cook our own food, he even helped us cook and after he insisted on doing the dishes for us! The room was really comfortable, the bed is super soft and the AC is amazing! The location is also perfect, in the middle of Anurhadapura! We would 1000% recommend this place! 🫶 Lots of love from the Netherlands x
