It is overlooking Bentota river, the views are beautiful. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere. We really liked spotting the water monitors – who make the occasional appearance. All members of staff were friendly, helpful, and always eager to make our stay special, we felt so comfortable and were sad to leave. The food was delicious, we were spoilt with so many delicious foods. This hotel was the ideal place to experience Sri Lanka. We left feeling refreshed and full of great memories. We would love to return one day, and will be recommending to all our friends and family. We had both breakfast and dinner here, the food was brought to our room to be enjoyed on our terrace and it was very good. Village Headman's Five Bedrooms Entire Bungalow is situated in Bentota and is just a 10 minute drive from Bentota City Centre and Bentota River while the Bentota Beach is just a 5 minute drive away. It is 90 km from Bandaranaike Airport. I had a wonderful experience at the VHB Bentota. Property is clean & has a fantastic old time charm. Room was clean, high quality & very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. The food was absolutely amazing & best meal I had while in VHB. I will always stay at this location when traveling to Bentota. I highly recommend this bungalow for anyone visiting downsouth Sri Lanka.
