We were told it was a few minutes from the beach by going down a garden path and it really is. In the extensive hotel grounds you could not hear any noise from the beach bars and restaurants that dot the coast. The rooms were spotlessly clean and depending on the room you booked, had all amenities. The view from our veranda was really beautiful. The pool is fab. The staff were really friendly. They also do laundry and you can borrow a kayak to go around the lagoon that backs onto the Hotel. We saw a massive monitor lizard which was exciting! Tip-the address on booking .com is accurate for car travel. The address on Google only for on foot. I suggest you ring the Hotel to co-ordinate with your driver if you are coming by car. It is one of those places that is easy once you know!

The host was super friendly and helped organised an excellent safari and she also cooked some great Sri Lankan food for when we returned! Balcony had a beautiful view of the rice fields and was a great location to relax.

Entire enviroment of hotel was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Super friendy and helpful staff. Owner is very open, friendly and chill man. He organized exciting full day safary. We even got to choose our lunch. Driver was excellent - shared his knowledge and tried to show us as much as possible. We would like to come there again. Thank you so much!

The hosts are incredibly friendly and omg, the home-made food was the best we had in Sri Lanka. We actually felt at home. I would recommend staying here for sure. We got really lucky here.

They prepared delicious food for us, gave us so many useful tips about our trip and even made us a Christmas surprise!!! Just amazing!
