I wnjoyed very much. Good value for money with nice surroundings, close to the beach and nice pool facilities. There is a yoga shala and private lessons on request. Very nice place!

She met us and explained everything about the room, and gave us some fresh pineapple juice as a welcome drink. The room itself was clean and comfortable with a nice huge balcony. The price meets the quality. :)

Our stay at lavender home was fantastic, it is homely, comfortable and the hospitality was out of this world. The rooms are clean and the AC is cold so after a humid day it was much needed. We had our 2 year old with us and the hosts were so friendly and gracious with him that he felt right at home in their arms! The seating area overlooking the rice paddy was ideallic and we spent many hours relaxing on the balcony. We got given local fruit and king coconuts to try. We had dinner at the property each night and the fresh Sri Lankan curries were fantastic! They also arranged a safari to Yala national park, it was well organised and included a packed breakfast and lunch. We definitely recommend staying at lavender home if you are planning on visiting Tissa.

Excellent room, services, hospitality, food and place. Excellent garden and pool area. You can even watch fireflies during the night. The owner organized the safari trip for us, with breakfast packed in the morning for the trip. One of the best stays in Sri Lanka.

The location is very quiet, within walking distance of the smaller lake and a 5-minute drive to Tissa lake. It is a good base to explore the area. I also booked 2 safari's with them. Everything was well-organised, from start to finish.

Mamba Yala was one of the most spectacular and unforgettable stays of my trip. The location, right in the middle of the jungle, is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by wildlife made the experience truly special. The accommodation itself was stunning: a beautiful treehouse-style cabana with a private pool, an open-air bathroom, and a panoramic terrace on top of the treehouse – perfect for relaxing, stargazing, or just enjoying the jungle views. The staff went above and beyond and even prepared a spectacular dinner for us at their own expense, making the stay truly memorable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the stay. If you’re looking for a unique and peaceful escape in Yala, this is definitely the place to be. Our family stayed two nights at Endlessblue, which is really an amazing and unforgettable experience - Certainly you cannot expect the luxury of 4-stars or 5 stars from there, however the room is spacious, clean and cozy. - Thimal(the Owner) and his family were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome on the first day. They tried to do whatever they can to make our stay nice and comfortable. BTW, they could speak both English and Germany very well. - Each meal is prepared mainly by Thimal himself and served on the beach side. The menu was hand-written by Thimal every day based on the fresh food he could get from the market. we enjoyed the food very much during our stay. - It is quite near the beach, which is very beautiful and has a good view of both the sunrise and the sunset, and most importantly very few people（almost nobody) were at the beach all the time. - The property is near the Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, which is a very nice place for nature lovers(especially bird watchers); we did two boat tours and enjoyed very much the natural beauty and tranquility down there. Actually, the property itself is also a good natural place, and we saw Bengal monitor, and several beautiful birds(sunbird, black-hooded Oriole and Asian paradise flycatcher). - We would definitely come again and wish all the best for Thimal, Tatiana and Charlotte.

The best time we had in Sri Lanka! The room was well equipped and very clean. The location was good- in a quiet area, close to the beach and to the main road that leads to the city centre, also there is a place to park a vehicle. The best part was the hospitality and the kindness from the hosts. Nadin and Asha are just wonderful! They prepared delicious food for us, gave us so many useful tips about our trip and even made us a Christmas surprise!!! Just amazing!
