Maheshi and her beautiful family could not have been any kinder to me during my stay at their lovely home. During my time there, I felt like I was being welcomed as one of the family. They helped me with medicine, tuktuks, trains etc. The room was so comfortable and spacious, with mosquito net around the bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was so clean and had a large, powerful shower. There is a wonderful rooftop perfect for morning yoga surrounded by the beautiful trees and plants growing around the house. Breakfast is served on a balcony each morning and you can hear birds singing. There is also a kitchen available for guests to use to prepare and store your own food. The best breakfast I have had in Sri Lanka - everything from homemade milk rice to sambol to omelettes and fresh fruit and bread. Maheshi was so generous with the portion size and the food was so delicious. She also offered tea throughout my stay and helped me to recover from illness. Thank you so much Maheshi and family x

Hotel is very quiet and we suggest to everyone who is looking for a calm, quiet place to rest. The food is great and the Staff is very kind and always ready to help, begining from the receptionist and hotel manager in one person - Sumudu and finished on the Candra - world class waiter with 32 years experience in restaurant service. Also the view from the rooms on the ocean is really amazing. We are definitely comming back to Blue Beach Hotel, maybe even this year!
