Terrace is great for relaxing,listening sounds from nature and you can see some animals (monkeys,squirrels). Pool is nice and clean. Big garden around where kids can play,also some tree swings.Food in restaurant is great. All the staff is very nice and always smilling.

The family helped us arrange a tuktuk in the early hours for the hike up Pidurangala Rock and recommended visiting Sigiriya Rock for sunset, which was amazing. The cottage was comfortable, the pool fantastic on these hot, sultry December days, and the wildlife amazing: monkeys, peacocks, and nearby elephants which we glimpsed in the dark. Best of all was the delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food, and the kind and friendly family. It is a little way out of the village but this is easily accessed by tuktuk. It is Aldo nice and quiet. Highly recommended.
