Situated next to Marimba Park, this modern hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking and a small gym. Great location near Parque de la Marimba, where you can enjoy beautiful live marimba music played by a full orchestra—it’s a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, and there’s a small but well-equipped gym with a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and some dumbbells. Breakfast is nice, though I wish they had ketchup! Secure parking is available. The security guard was especially helpful, friendly, and spoke English. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk didn’t speak English, but she was still very kind and welcoming. Overall, a great stay.

This is a wonderful hostel, more like a bed and breakfast. Fernando is a great host. On the edge of town very near hikes, with a stream flowing along the property. Excellent breakfasts. Highly recommend.

There is a lovely reception area with a place to sit and a beautiful garden courtyard where breakfast is served each morning. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend Hotel Ocho Barrios if you're coming to San Cristobal de las Casas and would definitely stay here again! We decided to stay an extra 2 nights.

Posada El Zaguan is a renovated Mexican-style hotel in San Cristóbal de Las Casas. It boasts mountain views, a shared dining room and free breakfast. Free Wi-Fi access is available. It was such a great experience. The rooms are modest but comfy and have everything you need. The power shower was great too. The breakfast is super good. And the best is the staff attention. I was solo travelling and they really made me feel at home. I had a fantastic time in San Cris and I’ll definitely go back.
