Set in Holbox Island, Quintana Roo region, AURORA is located 300 metres from Playa Holbox. This 3-star hotel offers luggage storage space. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Visited only for a few days, but it was the coolest place ever. The location was amazing, amenities were absolutely superb. Check in was super smooth. They gave us a free beach bag, you could use sunscreen and WATER machine which was a rarity in different Mexican hotels. It’s probably the nicest looking building in the whole Holbox beach area. Every single aspect of the stay was so well thought of I’m not surprised if this place picks up and becomes Booking.com yearly favorite.

It is a small hotel so they are able to attend to each guest individually. They arranged for us transportation to the free breakfast at a partner resort each day and it was seamless. Quiet, quaint location but still just a 5 minute walk from the beach - we avoided all the loud blaring music on the waterfront which I would imagine makes it hard to sleep.
