I had an amazing stay at Coffee Atelier in George Town’s UNESCO heart. This boutique gem, set in beautifully restored 20th-century shophouses, blends old-world charm with modern comfort. My suite was spacious, filled with antique charm, and had all the essentials, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and a cozy vibe. The location is perfect, just steps from Chulia Street, Blue Mansion, and Armenian Street, making it so easy to explore Penang’s vibrant street art and food scene, yet it’s surprisingly peaceful. The staff who took care of us were incredibly warm and helpful, sharing great local tips. Highly recommend for a memorable Penang stay!

House is beautifully Peranakan styled and comfortable. Central location, near to all the sights. Walking distance to eateries at SriBahari. There’s a big open shower (good for pet owners). Upstairs is the open floor where all the beds is to sleep 5 persons. There’s coffee,tea and salt/pepper, pasta in the cupboard. We can also buy Peranakan ladies costume, it’s for sale in the living room, just scan the QR code. I bought one to take photos around Penang.

It was really clean and comfy room. Just stay for 1 day but I wish to stay longer because the it was really comfortable. The bathroom is super clean too. I love the bed the most because it’s too comfortable that you just want to stay there for long time.

We had lovely stay in OZO. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast. 1. All the kitchen staffs, Chef Aaron and Suman, both booked all the clients well, including us, they are very concerned to make the clients feeling comfortable. They are proud of what they do, and they were very pleased when we expressed our happiness with their work. 2. Everyone in the service team, (sorry, I only got two names, Zul and Sevajul, but I'm sure that it's not difficult for you to find out other staffs' name for the two mornings when we were there.) are all working so hard, as soon as we finished a course, they will quickly came to picking up our used plates, etc, and they were so gentle and we can tell they were trying not to disturb us. When they saw someone dropped some food on the floor, they quickly came to clean it. 3. The food is so lovely. We were born in China, but living in UK for nearly 49 years, we could find the best food suitable for both east and west. 4. The environment, the layout of the kitchen, is very logical, and we don't need to walk far away, and it gave us a kind of home feeling. 5. The interaction between the team members are very friendly. They are very kind, polite and professional, which is not a easy balance to keep, but they did it perfectly! 6. You must have a very good manager. One morning, I noticed a tall gentleman in a suite, came to talk to the service staffs, touching and moving the coffee machine. It seems he's doing some quality control of something. 7. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our room a lot. All the staffs hard work, actually representing the hotel and the country, at the end of the day, clients would just remember OZO is a lovely hotel, and Panang is a lovely city, Malaysia is a lovely country. The breakfast options were diverse and quite filling, the room was super cosy and from a long flight I loved that it was only 20 minutes from the airport. Check-in was very smooth and my stay overall was great. I wish I had booked more nights!
