Location and View Its exactly at the point for Fjord and Best/Perfect place to stay in the town. Breakfast at the restaurant was awesome with variety of options available for me being an Indian Vegetarian(110%)

Situated by the sea on Valderøy Island, these apartments are 10 km from central Ålesund. All include free Wi-Fi access and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. We stayed in Apartment 3. The apartment was amazing with an ocean view. Hosts were very kind and attentive. Kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, oven and fridge. Kitchen adequately equipped to cook simple meals. Bed was very comfortable. Roomy with an eating area and a lounging area. The sunsets were fantastic. There is a small patio area in front to watch the ocean. And a lovely wak along the rocky shore.

This hotel is in a quiet district of Spjelkavik, less than 15 minutes’ drive from Ålesund. It offers a free evening buffet Monday-Thursday as well as free WiFi and parking. Cannot say enough good about this place. Great room that looked like it had recently been redone. And the staff were amazing. The director of the hotel made our experience extra special with her knowledge of history in the area.

Many things, the lady at receprion very nice and helpful, the room very cozy with everything you need, the location excellent, you have the cruises and buses for tour in front of your room. I had two sides to the streets view, when I arrive in the afternoon there was no building facing my room. The morning after there was a 15 storey building? No! It was the MSC Preziosa! The restaurant was beautiful, I had breakfast and choices were unlimited, not only for food but space. You could find table for one or group and areas that are more private than others. Besides, you are allowed to keep your luggage at reception after checking out.

Valldal Fjord Lodge B&B is situated at the foot of Sylte Mountain in Valldal, 100 metres from the Storfjord. It offers a terrace, furnished garden and free in-room Wi-Fi. So historic and cozy. The use of the yard out back to relax was amazing. Easy parking!
