The hotel has a big garden and lot of flowers. Kumar, the owner of the hotel, is a very nice man. He is very helpful and arranged the safari tours and picked up. The staffs is very nice as well. The bbq chicken was very tasty and remember to try one. Please tips the staff when you leave.

Surrounded by greenery, Sapana Village Lodge is a 01-minute drive from Sauraha City Centre and provides complimentary transport service to and from the lodge. The room was comfy. There was even space to hang my hammock, which is always a big gold star. There were lots of communal spaces, like the area for viewing the river and elephants wandering by, the fire circle, the bar, and of course the restaurant. The whole place is set up really well around a lush garden, and it's a short walk into the small village nearby. The staff were so accommodating, ever so friendly, and really went above and beyond. It was also really easy to organise activities to get to know the local culture better, and to see some wildlife. The safari was awesome - saw rhinos, a sloth bear, and more. If I came to Chitwan again, I'd definitely stay here again.

Kind, respectful and human, they welcome you not as a customer but as a friend. From the very first moment, you feel safe, at ease, and truly seen. It’s a typical Nepali family setting, where you can experience something truly different. They are not acting kind, they are kind. Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

The most special part of my visit to Nepal was visiting Chitwan. An excellent place to observe animals and fauna of all kinds. The hotel was excellent and very clean. If you're very lucky you will see a tiger. And if your guides are Gopal and Som you are very lucky indeed! A most excellent guide and enthusiast about all he sees. Knows so much too! We were surprised to see the rhino grazing and walking inside the garden of the hotel.

We really fell in love with this place. The calmth of the garden and the lovely patio gave us the time to rest completely. As well did we do a jungle tour with them and we had an amazing day. We saw reinos, tigers, crocodiles. The guides made sure to bring us to the good spots and they also provided food, snacks and some juice for us. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was every morning on its best.

A 15-minute walk from the lively Tandi Bazaar, Jungle Wildlife Camp offers cosy rooms with air conditioning and a TV. This property features a restaurant, massage services and free parking. The hotel is right on the river and you can see rhinos and crocodiles right from the terrace, and or when walking along the river bank. The restaurant was good and I was well looked after by Sitaram who serves guests and was very helpful in arranging early breakfasts. The hotel organises safaris and other activities in Chitwan National Park, which is across the river. I did a morning canoe ride followed by a jungle walk, then a full day safari. I had a great experience with both, and had the same guide who was really keen to help us see wildlife. It's much better to do the full day safari which leaves early in the morning. You can split the cost with other guests from the hotel. (It can be cold, especially with the breeze from the open jeep, so dress warmly.) We saw loads of rhinos, including mothers and babies, but it was all in the first half of the day. They took us to the best spots to view the animals, based on information shared among the guides. For the half-day keep safaris that leave in the afternoon, you're out in the heat of the day, and everyone seems to come back disappointed. The hotel is also just a 5-10 minute walk to the town, though there's not a lot to do or see there. The jungle is the main attraction.
