Great staff, from the moment I arrived the experience was very personalised. I did some activities with them (safari and walk) and tried the spa and it was fantastic. The food was very good and the restaurant staff amazing as well.

Kind, respectful and human, they welcome you not as a customer but as a friend. From the very first moment, you feel safe, at ease, and truly seen. It’s a typical Nepali family setting, where you can experience something truly different. They are not acting kind, they are kind. Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

The most special part of my visit to Nepal was visiting Chitwan. An excellent place to observe animals and fauna of all kinds. The hotel was excellent and very clean. If you're very lucky you will see a tiger. And if your guides are Gopal and Som you are very lucky indeed! A most excellent guide and enthusiast about all he sees. Knows so much too! We were surprised to see the rhino grazing and walking inside the garden of the hotel.

This camp is located very close to Chitwan National Park and very close to river where, if you're lucky, you can see crocodiles catching sun. Staff is amazingly friendly and very helpful. They also organize all kinds of visits of national part and I must say that I was more than impressed by knowledge that they shared with me. They know a lot about nature and to spend a day with them inside a park can be a day to remember. Camp has also its kitchen with lovely food with very cheap prices. I wouls highly recomend this place to anyone who want to visit this part of Nepal 🙏

A 15-minute walk from the lively Tandi Bazaar, Jungle Wildlife Camp offers cosy rooms with air conditioning and a TV. This property features a restaurant, massage services and free parking. I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Jungle Wildlife Camp. Location was great, right on the river and we were able to see rhinoceros, crocodiles, elephants, even a bengal monitor lizard and many different birds without leaving the property. We did our walking, jeep and canoe excursions through the hotel. The guide was excellent. There was lots of variety at breakfast and reasonably priced dinners. The service was above and beyond good. We had a pedal bike accident and Dhurba Raj Wagle came to our rescue and had someone meet us and stay with us and act as an interpreter for a full day and a half. Dhurba also arranged transportation for us.

What we had intended to be a two-night stay became six, and even so it was difficult to leave. The bar has been set very high for our onward accommodations in Nepal! We stayed in one of the deluxe double rooms, with a balcony at the back overlooking the community forest. Here we saw spotted deer most mornings, and hornbills and a spotted owlet who lives in a tree in the neighbouring compound. As other reviews have said the food at Madhuban Resort is phenomenal (I’d say there’s little point in going in to Sauraha town to eat but if you do want to it’s a short tuk tuk ride or a pleasant walk on quiet roads). The location of the resort is wonderful: it is very peaceful and relaxing to be surrounded by nature yet with Sauraha nearby. Right on the Rapti River with a beachfront bar and garden, you’ll see nature all around you. But most of all, what sets Madhuban Resort above the rest is the outstanding customer care of Prasant, Pukar and Bishnu. It’s like a home from home and the hospitality you’ll receive is second to none.
