Wonderful property off a main road with a huge orange orchard, cute pigs, and adorable chickens (who follow you around!). Loved that there was always a dog or guests roaming around, but it was still extremely quiet and laid back. Klaus, the proprietor, is a fantastic host who loves to chat while he goes about his day. 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back!!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Great location within beautiful grounds. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment. Excellent breakfast complete with homemade muesli and jam! Close to places we wanted to explore. Murray and Jan were extremely attentive and helpful in every way - we felt we were staying with friends.

Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell. Situated within 5 minutes' walk of local shops and dining options, the hotel offers an ideal base to explore the scenic and historic Bay of Islands. Excellent location and the view, super friendly staff, room was nice and clean.

Ala Moana Motel is located on the waterfront in central Paihia. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV with 50 satellite channels and a patio. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, the private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Waitangi Holiday Park provides an ideal base to explore Northland and the Bay of Islands. Situated on the banks of the Waitange River, it is close to Te Tii Bay and local beaches.

This holiday park is within walking distance to the Paihia village and a short ferry trip to Russell. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. Within 10 minutes' walk is the Historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds where you can discover how New Zealand began in 1840. Cabin was spacious and well-equipped with a lovely location right near the water. So nice to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and just relax. Shared facilities were great!—Kitchen has plenty of cooktops and sinks. Bathrooms were super clean and showers were nice and hot. Staff were very accommodating with storing bags before check-in and allowing a slightly later checkout. So friendly and helpful!

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The apartment features family rooms. The property was very well equipped. It had a lovely view and the host was excellent.

Austria Motel Paihia is 4 minutes’ drive from the famous Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and 10 minutes’ drive from Haruru Falls. Kerikeri Airport is a 25-minute drive away. Great location.Lovely friendly and helpful owners. Great central place to charge my batteries after a long flight.Would definitely recommend.
