Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. The staff were super friendly and flexible to assist me with my bit of special needs in order to make my Tongariro North Circuit hike happen. Great restaurant with excellent lamb shank -dish and service altogether. Big bonus from the hot tub and sauna, which were very much appreciated after the long hike. Big thumbs up and keep up the good work!
