A short walking distance to restaurants and town center on a lovely promenade ( or a minute by car) it offers everything one can possibly want for a stay. We will visit again for a longer stay in the future! 😍😍

We arrived ahead of the cyclone and when we told our host we had a flight to catch in Auckland she suggested we leave a couple days early to ensure we arrived on time. Although it was a HUGE disappointment to leave this beautiful place early we appreciated her wisdom.

Loved that there was always a dog or guests roaming around, but it was still extremely quiet and laid back. Klaus, the proprietor, is a fantastic host who loves to chat while he goes about his day. 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back!!

Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.
