A really lovely property in one of the most picturesque areas of NZ. Within walking distance of the main town and restaurants and ferry to Russell. The apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and our hosts were on hand if we needed anything. This was a very special place to begin our tour, just wished we had been able to stay a bit longer. Many thanks to Anne and Garth.

Tairua Shores Motel enjoys a harbourside location close to the Tairua Wharf, and it takes 2 minutes to drive to the town center or a 10-minute beach walk overlooking Mt Paku and Tairua Harbour. Perfect location.. staff were just lovely..wish we could have stayed longer

Situated only 4 minutes’ walk from central Ohakune, The Central Motel & Lodge features an outdoor hot tub. All studios and apartments include self-catering facilities and electric blankets. 10/10 for absolutely everything! First things first, Denis, our host was absolutely fantastic and accommodating for us to check in late so we can enjoy the lovely weather. He also gave us really good trail recommendations since our plans to do the Crossing have been cancelled. The room itself was big, clean, comfortable with a huge bed and new facilities in the bathroom and kitchen. The shower was a delight! And to top everything, there is a hot tub to enjoy after a long day of hiking. Best place in NZ so far.

Beautifully maintained B&B, with great attention to details. We appreciated the electric blanket, the breakfast bar in our room and the little table right outside the room surrounded by lavender, it was the best setting for breakfast in the garden. The property also has a pool and a jacuzzi and it's close to the beach.

This is a very amazing experience! The house is very large, the facilities are also great, and the courtyard is beautiful. We met the hosts, who were very friendly and enthusiastic.They even made dumplings for us to celebrate Chinese New Year. This makes us feel very warm.
