A really lovely property in one of the most picturesque areas of NZ. Within walking distance of the main town and restaurants and ferry to Russell. The apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and our hosts were on hand if we needed anything. Absolutely stunning position overlooking the Bay of islands. Marcel couldn’t have been more helpful and recommended plenty of things to do. A 20-minute walk from Pacific Bay, Pacific Rendezvous Resort features private beach access. The property offers an outdoor pool, barbecue facilities and rooms with ocean or harbour views. Guests receive 100MBs of free WiFi per 24 hours. The property was so beautiful, so modern, and had everything we could have hoped for. The staff was kind and we had access to more than we could have hoped for.

Set in Kerikeri, 20 km from Opua Forest, Relax a Lodge offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel provides garden views and a terrace. Wonderful property off a main road with a huge orange orchard, cute pigs, and adorable chickens (who follow you around!). Loved that there was always a dog or guests roaming around, but it was still extremely quiet and laid back. Klaus, the proprietor, is a fantastic host who loves to chat while he goes about his day. 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back!!

Situated 19 km from Opua Forest, Horse Shoe Manor offers 3-star accommodation in Paihia and has a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The quality of accomodation, the food and the garden. The hosts were most helpful and attentive.

Norfolk Motel & Campervan Park in Awanui has 3-star accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Excellent location for the drive to Cape Reinga. All the amenities you need for your trip. Kim was very friendly and helpful. Despite having been through a cyclone a few days before, the only noticeable effect was the pool. Kim and staff had done a great job cleaning up so you wouldn't even have known it had passed through. Thanks for a great stay.

Motel Six Whangarei is a 10-minute drive from Whargarei Airport. Whangarei Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away. It is a 25-minute drive to Whangarei Heads. The facilities are good the Internet is fast and the staff are amazing

Situated within 5 minutes' walk of local shops and dining options, the hotel offers an ideal base to explore the scenic and historic Bay of Islands. Great location, our room had beautiful views, impeccably clean and staff were friendly.
