The combination of the incredible view, the luxury of your own (nicely private) pool, the very comfortable room, and the wonderfully kind and attentive staff made this one of my favourite hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The resort is not quite finished yet but this doesn’t impact your stay in any meaningful way. Being so close to the wadi means you can get there easily with ease and have it entirely to yourself for hours (which we did on a week day, from around 8 to 11). This is a very special place. Put it on your wish list for sure!

The Best Western Sur is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. All the staff are nice, and the place is very clean and quiet that I highly recommend.

Super OYO 110 Ras Al Hadd Guest House is located in Al Ḩadd, 27 km from Sur. Each room at this guest house is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Very friendly and helpful tips from the reception as well as fresh fruits and water :)
