Our stay at Cordillera was great. The hotel was clean, modern and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was in a nice quiet area so it wasn’t noisy at night. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We chose to do our hike privately and not with a group tour and Edisson (reception staff) helped us organise the private taxi the day before with no issues. We also left very early one morning at 5am for one of our hikes and the hotel organised a packed lunch for us as we were going to miss breakfast. If you are staying in Huarez, i highly recommend this hotel!

This place is a gem in the middle of Huaraz. The gardens are a perfect oasis to relax at the end of your day. The breakfast is superb, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice. The owner, Luis, is the perfect host with helpful suggestions and ensuring your comfort. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot.

We had such a beautiful stay at San Sebastián. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They attended to our every need. Special mention to their chef who made us tasty breakfasts every morning and prepared us packed lunches for hikes and room service in the evenings when we were exhausted. It’s like a little oasis in the middle of Huaraz with beautiful common areas and balconies to sit outside and enjoy a drink. It was our favourite hotel in Perú so far!
