- In close proximity to some of Coron's most fabulous diving spots, Sangat Island Dive Resort offers fan-cooled accommodation, including all meals, return airport transfers and WiFi. Three of our chalets now offer air-conditioning as well. Beautiful, tranquil resort in an idyllic setting. All the resort staff were lovely and super friendly and helpful. On arrival we were met by name on the pier by Jennifer and Meryl who set the tone for the visit! Rooms: We were in a Beachside Chalet, which was right on the beach as the name suggest with a lovely view. The chalets are rustic but comfortable. No AC but we had a ceiling fan and two additional movable fans in the room (which we used ) and we slept well. No hot water, but we didn't miss it - its hot anyway so its nice to a have a shower to cool down. Water is cool, but not freezing. Food: was pleased by the food because I know some Philippine dishes can be heavy and fried, but there weren't many of these( a few, which were good !) Healthy home style cooking with lots of variety each day and fresh fruits at each meal. The Rock Bar which serves happy hour from 5 - 7 pm is a little gem. Diving: We chose Sangat as a dive resort. There was a mix of divers of varying abilities while we were there and the dive centre was on top of grouping people according to abilities for safe an enjoyable diving for all. Great dive staff who follow safe ( but not overbearing) dive practices. Ed was our guide for the week and took us through all the wrecks. He was excellent! The wrecks are the main attraction - there about 7 of them and they are all interesting and good to penetrate if you have the skill level to do so. Less experienced divers can also dive the wrecks without going inside. Lots to see on top of them also. Reefs: Much healthier and less bleached corals than I recently saw in the Maldives but fish life is pretty usual. Not really any big stuff. For non divers you would want to be happy with just chilling, reading, snorkelling - I think there's a few excursions you can do, but its very low key.

The resort is just a 10-minute drive from Coron Town and the nearest public hospital. The famous Maquinit Hot Spring is a 20-minute drive, while Busuanga Airport is a 30-minute drive away. We arrived here after a horrible experience in a hotel in El Nido, and couldn’t be more grateful for La Natura. The place itself is a perfect calm oasis, pool area is lovely (even because there are no beaches close-by so it’s perfect to relax), the room is spacious and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious. But what really makes the difference here is the family that runs it. They will make you feel so welcomed and cared for. They helped us with everything we needed help with, with a smile. Do yourself a favour and stay here if visiting Coron. Yes you are not in the city center, but honestly, in Coron, you don’t want to be (it’s not a particularly pretty city center). Plus it’s very easy to get everywhere with a scooter. We just wished we could have stayed longer! Grazie!! :)

Well located in the centre of Coron, NVH Coron Palawan provides free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. The house was spacious enough for a big group like ours (10 adults & 1 child). The hosts were very kind, accommodating and always available. We had lots of requests and all were met. Highly recommended for big groups!

Situated conveniently in Coron, Sunburn Suites and Rooftop Bar offers air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. This 3-star hotel offers room service. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.6 km from Dicanituan Beach. Location, rooftop was great the end of the day. The staff were all very friendly. I liked dryer rack provided for our bathing suites. The breakfast provided at the hotel in the morning was good if you are leaving early. Not a lot of options but convenient. They don’t accept credit/debit cards but this was not clarified at anytime during the stay. So we booked a lot of tours and at the end of the stay were surprised we couldn’t charge the card. The maximum withdrawal for the ATM is PHP20,000 so if your charges are more than that, you have to find a way to get cash. Better to pay cash daily. We sorted it out but got a little stressed. Good thing we found out the night before and had time to go to the ATM before our flight. The next day they offered other payment options that had huge transaction charges. So we paid in cash. They comped our ride to the airport and apologized which was good service recovery.

Free towels for the pool are available at the reception at your convenience and you can take them to go to the beach or boating. All facilities are great. The CR is just 5 stars as well. Staff is plenty, helpful but very discrete. Breakfast is very good.

The stunning surroundings and attention to detail brought us to tears! The staff's warmth and hospitality made us feel like home, and the incredible view and cuisine, crafted with love and local flavors, is something we are still dreaming about. Honestly, we do not just want to return - we want to live there! Special shoutout to Brian, surprisingly normal yet exuding a Jedi-like calm.
