Couples particularly like this location. What a great location! There is parking right outside, and the village is everything you could ask for. We did not eat at the restaurant as we prefer to eat early, but the breakfast was excellent.

The rooms are spacious and the hotel has a number of lounges. Afternoon tea is provided in one of the lounges and includes cookies and cake!. The breakfast is excellent, with great variety - even catering to gluten free! All staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Featuring a private entrance, the bed and breakfast allows guests to maintain their privacy. It was wonderful to be off the beaten path and surrounded by countryside! The pool was great although we arrived too late to use. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable! The host had thought of everything, many little details! Breakfast was amazing and the owners and staff were wonderful to chat with! We wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely recommend this place to others.

The accommodation is 500 metres from the beach facing the Mira River. It was a lovely and roomy apartment. Only the bathrooms were a little cramped. But there were two of them! Lots of facilities to enjoy in the apartment and on the wider grounds. The view from the roof terrace was spectacular.

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Great location just outside the city walls. Our room was spacious, stylish, comfortable and clean, with a balcony. Very good breakfast! We took advantage of using the adjacent open/air swimming pool (a reasonable extra cost) as the weather was very hot during our stay. Helpful staff at the desk.

Surrounded by gardens, fruit trees and vineyards, this hotel is located only 2 km from the city walls of Évora. It offers a salt water swimming pool and features solar panels, which provide most of the property's electricity. Was clean, staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great.

The rooms at the Sever Rio Hotel have views of either the Sever River or the mountains, and are all decorated with modern furnishings. Each has a flat-screen TV and an en suite with a spacious shower. Some come with a balcony. This was the best hotel experience I had in Portugal. The hotel was easy to find, the staff was friendly and accommodating and everything worked very well. Wifi was excellent and I even had some heat (as the weather had turned chillier approaching winter). The hotel is located at the base of the "mountain" that Marvao - the medieval city and palace occupy and is only about 6 miles from the Spanish border. If I ever return to this area, I will definitely stay at the Sever Rio Hotel!
