Ideally located in the highest village in Portugal, El Rei Dom Manuel Hotel is housed in a historic building, its rooms offer breathtaking and stunning views over the landscapes of Portugal and Spain.... Staff were good especially Bruno ( Micheal Buble) and his wife. Very friendly and helpful. Grateful village to stay in and good restaurant

Located in the historic town of Vila Vicosa and 300 metres from Paco Ducal, Hotel Solar Dos Mascarenhas includes a 16th-century building, stables and mature gardens. The hotel was in a great location. The front desk was great. If you need good internet this can be a problem. They gave me an extender which worked well. Highly recommend this property.

Veronica and Pedro together with theie staff are excellent hosts. The location is surrounded by nature and just a short drive away from the beach. There’s a pool which is lovely to spend some at. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. What stands out is the breakfast: huge selection of fresh food is provided (eggs, fruits of all kind, cheese, ham, marmelades, honey, fresh yogurth, bread, veggies and some sweet delights). We would return in a heart beat.

Located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Penthouse with rooftop pool - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels features access to an outdoor swimming pool, indoor pool, spa and wellness centre and a paddle tennis... It was a lovely and roomy apartment. Only the bathrooms were a little cramped. But there were two of them! Lots of facilities to enjoy in the apartment and on the wider grounds. The view from the roof terrace was spectacular.

Everything within a walking distance. The room was spotless and breakfast though basic yet was very good. Staff are very helpful and did their best to accommodate us in spite of the high occupancy during the time of our stay that kept them very busy all the time.

Surrounded by gardens, fruit trees and vineyards, this hotel is located only 2 km from the city walls of Évora. Nice hotel with a good breakfast and very friendly hosts.

This 3-star hotel is located in Portagem, on the banks of the Sever River, where guests can enjoy a public pool. It has free WiFi and views of the historic village of Marvão. This was the best hotel experience I had in Portugal. The hotel was easy to find, the staff was friendly and accommodating and everything worked very well. Wifi was excellent and I even had some heat (as the weather had turned chillier approaching winter). The hotel is located at the base of the "mountain" that Marvao - the medieval city and palace occupy and is only about 6 miles from the Spanish border. If I ever return to this area, I will definitely stay at the Sever Rio Hotel!

Situated in the historic centre of Mértola, Museu offers picturesque views of the Guadiana River and free WiFi. Next to the reception of the property is a museum showing archaeological excavation... Super nice, clean, and modern, with archaeological, dig and artifacts in the center of the hotel. Staff very accommodating and walking distance to Castle and historical sites. Breakfast spread was very lovely!

Located opposite Beja’s exhibition fairground and 60 metres from the bus station, Hotel Francis offers air-conditioned rooms with cable TV and a private balcony. Very accommodating. Most staff was pleasant. Rooms were comfortable
