My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey tones. They include extra long beds and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Suites also feature a minibar. The hotel was well maintained and clean, the staff extremely friendly and understanding. In particular we had some very personal touches: early check-in (we were exhausted from a very early morning flight), complimentary breakfast, and a birthday cake delivered to the room (they had noticed at check-in that it was my daughter's birthday).

Very well equipped kitchen, clean room, comfy bed, towels provided. Lovely hosts and guests. There's even a garden area with some herbs. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Horta! :) The location is also very practical and rather close to the ferry station.

Some rooms have a private balcony, all rooms at Hotel Beira Mar come with LCD TV. Each has a modern bathroom. The gentlemen at the front desk went above all expectations. He was so kind in securing me a taxi to the airport when I hadn't booked one the day before. He truly saved me my flight. This hotel reminded me of the places we would stay as girls.
