The staff could not have been more accommodating, especially the young man and older woman (Alexandrina) who helped us with our very heavy luggage! He even gave us a bigger room when he saw how much baggage we had. The room had a balcony with table (for a picnic), chairs and a beautiful view, which was even better at sunset. Buffet breakfast (included) was extensive and varied. We were able to park on the street, literally at the door of the hotel. The women did yeoman service on our huge pile of laundry. Exceptional service and value for the money. There was also a small fitness room with equipment.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Hotel Solar dos Pachecos is set right in Lamego's centre, just 50 metres from the Lamego Cathedral and 150 metres from the Lamego Museum. The property is located within 100 metres of Ribeiro Conceição Theatre and features a bar, as well as a shared lounge area. The staff were fantastic, even showing me where I could park my motorcycle more safely. When language proved a barrier the owners mother in law went out of her way to phone someone so I could chat in English. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was basic but plentiful. I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you.

The accommodation features room service, an ATM and organising tours for guests. I must confess that we were very impressed with the quality of the hotel, the room, the pool area and above all with the warm and personalized service provided by Mr. Izidro and his family! Highly recommended from us!

The Pinhão Railway station has vineyard-themed tiles decorating it, and is a 5-minute drive away and a 15 minutes walk. The Pinhão city center is also just a 5-minute drive and 15 minutes walk from the LBV House Hotel. Nice room with balcony and view. Great parking. Wonderful breakfast.

Accommodation, cleanliness, staff professionalism, friendliness, food and service were fantastic. Parking was good and room was air conditioned.
