Hotel Sud is located in Giurgiu, 3 km from the Bulgarian city of Ruse and close to Danube River. It offers elegant rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi and a free, large guarded parking lot. This is my third stay at Hotel Sud. I appreciate having the restaurant on site and most of the staff are very friendly. Oscan in the restaurant was very kind and an excellent host. The food is always delicious and served quickly. It’s nice to have the convenience store across the street.

At the edge of Giurgiu, next to the main road, Motel Prietenia features a restaurant with a bar, a 24-hour reception, air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi in all areas. Stopped here whilst doing the EV6. Friendly staff and very helpful. Found somewhere safe for us to keep our bikes, which was nice of them. It is on the outskirts of town, but not necessarily a problem. Shops and restaurants nearby.
