Hotell Kung Gösta is just around the corner from Mora Train Station and 20 minutes’ walk from the Zorn Museum. Tomteland Theme Park is only a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Very friendly staff that made a solo traveller welcome. Buffet meals had plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. Having a small indoor pool and sauna was great but I did not have time to explore these fully. Bag drop and shower after my cross country ski race and after check out was the icing on the cake. 5 min walk to train station has to be up there too.

It was out in the countryside where it was peaceful. It was also near Dalhalla where I attended a concert.

Klockargården Hotel from 1937 offers tastefully decorated rooms in preserved timber houses surrounded by tranquil gardens. Lake Siljan is 1 km away. Full breakfast had everything including bacon, eggs and whipped cream for the pancakes. Mari-Ann at front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful.
