Dating back to 1852, this elegant hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Gothenburg Central Station. It offers a peaceful inner courtyard, free WiFi and free coffee/tea and homemade cakes each afternoon. Everything in this hotel was excellent. Nice breakfast. The closeness to the center. I especially appreciate the iron at the room which is no longer a standard even in 4-star hotels.

Our hosts were kind, caring and helpful. Thechotel has been totally renovated and is spotlessly clean. There is a nice terrace with a view over the sea and a bar open from 1500 to 2000 for the residents. The fish soup on our last evening was delicious.

Located in Frösakull, 8 km from Halmstad, Halmstad Golfarena Hotell features a 9-hole golf course and other golfing options. Amazing apartments and the evening/morning view are amazing. We made sure that we got the west/south facing apartments to get the perfect sunset view. We played in the range and mini-golf. Both were at par or even better than usual, facility wise. The breakfast was amazing, has the standard continental options, and tastes really great.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was both tasty and beautifully laid out. We had to leave very early to catch the ferry so we couldn't have breakfast on the day we left, but the hotel gave us vouchers for breakfast on the ferry back to Oskarshamn, and that was really nice. Best of all the beds were comfortable.
