Everything was clean and the snacks were a nice little touch.

We rented apartment with sauna in what seems to be newer building in the complex, and it was very comfortable. Apartment has a nice terrace facing the forest. You may even see deer walking around. Multiple hiking paths are within short driving distance. If you come prepared (see negatives section) it is easily one of the nicest places for calm and relaxing stay surrounded by beautiful nature.

This city centre hotel is within 10 minutes’ walk of Östersund Central Station and the Storsjön lake. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi internet access. You are in a perfect location and the room is equipped with a little kitchenette (microwave, small refrigerator). Not luxury! But 100% cozy. I’m an expat from America and would recommend this vs any Best Western or Clarion hotel that cost more. There is no AC in ANY hotel room in this part of Sweden. So don’t think an expensive hotel down the street will have air conditioners. The owner gave me a fan and my room is completely comfortable! This hotel is a great hidden gem! There is an ICA (grocery store) only a few minutes walk. Tons of restaurants and shopping literally outside the front door. I highly recommend this place!

Everything was exceptional. We walked to the property on the St. Olav trail. Needless to say, nature is beautiful around this property. The service and friendly staff. The AMAZING food buffet during breakfast, lunch and dinner was wonderful. The dining room had amazing vies and the outdoor seating also had beautiful views of the water. Very peaceful and tranquil. The views are heaven. The room was spacious and clean with a private bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. I immensely enjoyed the relaxing sauna. I immensely enjoyed staying at this property and look forward to returning soon.

This property is located 4.8 km from central Åre and 500 metres Björnen ski lift. Guests can enjoy free sauna access and free ski bus shuttle from the hotel to the slopes. The breakfast was very good. It is not the biggest breakfast area but it had a good variety of cold and warm cuts.
