Another unique aspect of this hotel was the small exhibition room that shows how a prisoner's cell looked like in the past. The location is also one of the advantages that this hotel offers, because it is close to all the points of interest for culture, shopping and food.

The guest rooms at Centralhotellet have a minibar, desk and smart-TV. I usually don’t write reviews, but I loved this hotel so much I feel they deserve special recognition. Older hotels can often be a little shabby despite renovations, but this place has both cosy, old world charm while achieving standards for cleanliness, upkeep, and comfort equal to the best hotels. Being a short and easy walk to the bus and train station as well as the city center, it was in a perfect location. Staff at the desk were welcoming, helpful, and efficient, and without my asking, helped me carry my luggage up the stairs since there is no elevator. My room was nicely proportioned, quiet, and very cosy. Breakfast was great. There is also a nice little lounge in the reception area with tea and coffee for fika alone or with others. (And for a delicious fika treat, check out Bageri 96° on Stora Torget!) I only wish I could have stayed here more than one night!

Fredensborgs Herrgård’s bright, simple rooms have wooden floors, cable TV and a seating area. It is a very nice hotel and extremely good restaurant. The garden and the lake are wonderful. Breakfast was very good too.

This hotel is definitely a gem of Öland. Very cosy, spacious and tidy room, great shared space with well-equipped kitchen. The personnel is super friendly. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant with traditional dishes cooked according to the recipe of the owner's family. A cold bottle of prosecco was delicious too. The breakfast was tasty and the restaurant is lovely. Perfect quality for the money.

Excellent service.easy communication.extremely clean cozy. Everything at hand.good walking distance from the city center. Great value for the money. I would love to stay there again.

Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Very clean and beds were very comfortable. The so rounding is beautiful, it’s like a botanical garden.
