It offers free Wi-Fi, free sauna use and individually decorated rooms, just 300 metres from the harbour and beach. I wanted to stay in a typical building and the hotel was the perfect spot for me, I loved it, and the room wasso big, the bathroom as well, it was so great to experiment this. On the way to our room,we passed the garden which lookedso pleasant, but we didnt have time to sit there with a book. The owner was very nice and friendly, he let us drop our bags as we arrived early from Malmö and we came back at 3.30pm for check in. Breakfast was wonderful, there was even herring, so swedish we were delighted! We cannot recommend enough this place!

When entering the room, or in our case the two bedroom apartment, we had a feeling that we are not in a hotel but in a home. This place is anything but a standard hotel which are similar to each other. The appartment was spacious and had everything we needed and more. The wifi worked well and the TV is big and modern. The couch for watching is comfortable. A plus for the big fridge. The room was silent and it was possible to make it completely dark, which we liked much. Breakfast is in the cafeteria next doors, the selection was good. The hotel is very well located next on the pedestrian area. Everything necessary is within the walking distance. No noisy bars in the vicinity, so the room is quiet. Check-in and check-out were handled electronically for us without any problems. For sure, I will check this place again when I return to Ystad.

This hotel is in the Österlen village of Kivik, just 300 metres from a sandy beach. It provides free WiFi access, a restaurant, and a neo-Renaissance garden. Guests can relax in the on-site spa for a fee. Great location, with a beautiful garden and sea view. It was relatively empty (dead week just before midsummer) and we enjoyed the calm of the place. The restaurant and breakfast was fine. The room (Villa Emiliero superior 32) was old fashioned with a perfect view. Bed was very confortable. We recommend strongly to visit Ystad and to go to JH matbar. One of best food experience we had in Sweden (very inexpensive comparing to similar venue in Stockholm)
