It’s in a historical half-timbered building with a small garden/patio in the middle. Staff was friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was wonderful. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place with cute old-fashioned B&B decor (floral wallpapers and all).

This hotel is in the Österlen village of Kivik, just 300 metres from a sandy beach. It provides free WiFi access, a restaurant, and a neo-Renaissance garden. Guests can relax in the on-site spa for a fee. Great location, with a beautiful garden and sea view. It was relatively empty (dead week just before midsummer) and we enjoyed the calm of the place. The restaurant and breakfast was fine. The room (Villa Emiliero superior 32) was old fashioned with a perfect view. Bed was very confortable. We recommend strongly to visit Ystad and to go to JH matbar. One of best food experience we had in Sweden (very inexpensive comparing to similar venue in Stockholm)
