The rooms are large and very comfortable. Great shower. The renovations they've done are quite impressive.

There was no milk and a minimum of what former guests had left. You will have to walk a bit to find some food, so if you arrive late, bring your own or order take-out. There is a hair dryer, an iron and board, some shampoo and some soap. Towels are available as are sheets. For 20-25 Euros more you get a boutique-type hotel downtown, including breakfast.

Guest rooms at Sahlströmsgården Hotel feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. We were on our way to Sälen and needed a stop. We were met by a very kind and professional staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and we had a nice view of a lake nearby. In the evening we had a dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. We had to leave before the serving of breakfast. Then the staff made some sandwiches to us for the early morning travel.
