I had to leave early to catch a train at 7:00am, the breakfast didn't start until 07:30, but the staff made me a takeaway breakfast. Room was nice, overlooking the town square, nice view. Room was clean.

Surrounded by the Low Tatras National Park and set in the Tale Ski Area, Hotel Stupka offers accommodation with a wellness centre, billiards, a table tennis, darts and 2 tennis courts. Breakfest was great,surrounding beautiful.

Hotel Bystrá*** is located in a quiet area 2 km from the Tale Ski Centre. The breakfast buffet and dinner changed from day to day and were excellent with a variety of choices. On our last night there was not the minimal number of guests needed to offer a full buffet so breakfast was downsized but we could order off the menu and the portions were immense. The pool area was wonderful (loved the lazy river) as was the sauna area which was accessible for a separate fee. Soft music and candles in both the pool and sauna areas made for a lovely relaxing atmosphere. North Americans may benefit from being advised in advance that bathing suits are not allowed in the sauna, steam room, or whirlpool tub in the sauna area. There is a lovely walking path along a bubbling brook steps from the hotel. The room was not large but had everything we needed including a mini fridge, and as always I love the fact that hotel windows open in Europe so one can sleep with fresh mountain air.

Located in Nizke Tatry’s village Bystra, Chata pod Chopkom is just 700 metres from the Mýto pod Ďumbierom ski slopes and 2 km from the Tále ski region. Chata is a lovely wood house. Very close to the ski resort, it takes around 6 min of car ride to get to the nearest ski lift. It was clean and cozy. I realy love gireplace and possibility to cut wood, so it was perfect for me.
