Located 1.2 km from Shark Bay and 1.3 km from Mae Haad Pier, Aukotan Place offers comfortable rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. Super clean, efficient and just a really well run place. The location was perfect as it’s 10 min walking distance to the southern beach (a quieter more relaxed vibe), but also has a bunch of great restaurants, scooter rental places, a fruit stall etc right on the doorstep. Given that you basically need to rent a scooter to get around anywhere on Koh Tao, it doesn’t really matter that it’s not right at the beach. Much quieter area of the island than the main beach which we preferred.

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Clear View Resort is located in a quiet area of Ko Tao. It features bungalows with a private balcony and free WiFi access. It's a very nice hotel, the swimming pool is great and the hotel is very close to the beach for those who prefer. The room was great and clean and silent at night. The only con is that it took some time for the AC to cool the room but that's a detail. The staff was very kind and helpful. We forgot some of our stuff and they sent it to us by boat to Koh Samui, for free! Thanks a lot!

It was an extraordinary experience. We we fall asleep to the sound of the waves, we admired the views from the terrace of the room. Everything was amazing.

Situated on a hill, Tanote Villa offers spacious villas with a private balcony and flat-screen cable TV. This resort features an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi access. One of the best places I’ve stayed in. The staff is great, friendly and helpful with anything you need. The location is great, the views are amazing. The feeling of tranquility is unmatched. I just found my happy place. There’s a taxi to and from the villa twice a day. Two pools which is in excellent condition at any time. The rooms are cozy. I’ll be back.

Overlooking Mae Haad Beach, Sensi Paradise Beach Resort is a short walk from shops and restaurants. Offering wooden bungalows built with local materials, it also boasts a lovely pool area. Feels like you are in the jungle. Nice rooms, good breakfast, beautiful beach and some nice snorkeling spots just outside the beach.

Locations and staff ,the location is great to many restaurant and bar , walk to 7/11 5 mins, staff is friendly and helpful, my first trip to Koh Tao not bad ^^ I'm planning back again in the future.
