The place was amazing, the hotel was really authentic and I really liked the vibe. It’s perfect for solo travellers and families as well. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. The bungalows were clean and they provided all the necessary amenities for a perfect and comfortable stay. The breakfast and the dishes were exceeded my expectations, everything was really delicious. Absolutely can recommend HEBE Bungalows and hope I can come back one day!

We had an amazing time there! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent—especially the breakfast, and the fresh fish straight from the sea was delicious. It was the perfect romantic getaway. If you love dogs, you’ll enjoy the friendly dogs around. The creative gym equipment was a nice touch, and the swimming pool with a sea view was just incredible.

Excellent hotel, excellent facilities and outstanding service of all staff without any exception. Staff from reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant, the security make you feel like at home. We had to call an ambulance in the night due to a sudden illness and remained in the hospital for 36 hours and the support of hotel staff was remarkable. Under the management of the responsible/manager they all act in a very diligent and kind manner, took care of us, specially of our children, who stayed alone at the hotel, while we were at the hospital,… their care and honest interest made us all feeling like at home and in family. We frankly recommend this hotel for the location, facilities, food and service, and overall by their staff approach. Congratulations!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great, and freshly prepared. Just a short walk to the beach and a number of nice restaurants. Room was very spacious and clean.

We liked (loved!) everything! Such a beautiful place, with nice energy, great relaxing vibe and the most friendly staff and great food. The room/apartment is spacious with a separate room for bags and clothes with a big mirror. Bathroom is also big with a rain shower. Breakfast is served at your own table on the veranda. Beach is beautiful (white sand, blue ocean) and even with low tide it’s a great sight. A great place to unwind, relax and enjoy.

Set in Jambiani, in the middle of a local village , Zanzistar Lodge boasts a sun terrace with outdoor pool and is located just a short stroll away from the beach. Absolutely loved the laid back vibe of this place.I was offered an upgrade and had the room right by the beach. The tasteful interior of the rooms attracted me to this hotel initially. This is the kind of place you can walk barefoot in all day. Its small and intimate with really friendly people working there. And delicious food! Great drinks! Wonderful beach bar with a fun swing!

Evergreen Bungalows offers beachfront accommodation in Bwejuu. The property has a private beach area and bike hire and car hire are available. Zanzibar City is 37 km away. Absolutely everything about this place exceeded our expectations! It's an absolute must-visit. We were particularly impressed by the owner's commitment to sustainability, evident in their refusal to use single-use plastics. Instead, they offer fresh water in glass bottles and provide stainless steel straws with each drink. The staff's kindness extends beyond humans, too - their furry friends, the dogs and cats, are clearly well-loved and cared for. Another thoughtful touch is the daily visit from staff around 6 pm to spray the room with bug repellent - a lovely added convenience. Overall, we can't recommend this place highly enough!
