Finding Hale Hualalai for our last two days on the big island was a stroke of luck. The facility is tucked away off a mountain road surrounded by coffee plantations and endowed with a panoramic view. It was a distinct pleasure to have conversations with Ricky, who is an excellent host and cook. We particularly enjoyed eating his delicious breakfasts while gazing out at the beautiful view and watching the hilarious antics of the geckos. Ricky is also a great source of information about the island and Hawaii in general. The location is great for coffee tasting. (Be careful about getting over caffeinated and driving on the winding mountain roads!). We initially chose to stay at Hale Hualalai because of proximity to the airport, which is only 15 minutes away by car.

We stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights and fall in love immediately. The staff was very friendly, the room was absolutely cute and perfectly cleaned and the dinner at the Lodge was excellent (you should try the Volcanoes wine made in the area!). Drinking water and parking were for free. The location was great, since we were there for hiking in the Volcanoes National Park, which is only 5-10 mins drive away. You can use the fire place in the common area for free and enjoy a relaxing evening. There is no TV in the room, which we loved. Time to talk and read a book. A rain forest nature trail belongs to the Lodge's area as well.

Very neat and clean and for a studio it was very spacious and every possible amenity and resources we could think of were provided. Exceptional value for money . We had a comfortable stay.

Located in Kailua-Kona, this luxury resort features fully furnished one and 2-bedroom suites, 11 tennis courts and tropical landscapes surrounding 6 pools. Amazing huge 2 floor apartment, nicely decorated, extremely well equipped, beautiful surroundings, great location. Perfect!

The B&B exceeded expectations. Wish we could have stayed here longer and may come back to stay in the future. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Views out the front our beautiful and hosts are very welcoming.

Beautiful plantation house surrounded by lush hawaiian gardens and fruit trees. The Breakfast was top shelf and plentiful, and Michael was very welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Located on the Kohala Coast, Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kings Land Waikoloa boasts an on-site restaurant, 4 outdoor swimming pools and a hot tub. It’s exceptional. Far exceeded my expectations. It’s not clear in the description that you have full use of the rest of the Hilton resort which is just brilliant.

Situated on an 18-acre oceanfront property, these Kona apartments boast 3 swimming pools and 2 tennis courts on site. They offer fully equipped kitchens. Kahaluu Beach Park is 1 mile away. The location at the south end of the city was perfect for exploring the island and snorkeling. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
