Located 1.7 km from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, 1872 Inn offers upscale, adults-exclusive accommodation in West Yellowstone, Montana. A very good hotel with a nice location, just a few minutes’ drive to the park entrance. It’s quiet, comfortable, and clean. The only downside is that the bed is too soft for my taste, though most people probably prefer softer beds. The cleanliness is excellent, and the breakfast is also very good, although the variety of fruit is a bit limited.

Awesome place to stay!!! Lots of room in the house; clean towels were brought to us every day and the towels from the day before were picked up. Super nice people; very quiet area. Perfect for visiting Yellowstone National Park since the gate was only about a mile away. West Yellowstone, Montana is a super town to visit with many great restaurants to try!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to come right back!!!

Set along the banks of the Clark Fork River, this Thompson Falls motel boasts a number of outdoor activities, such as fishing, canoeing, and hiking on nature trails. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and patient with our elderly dog. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the bed and the shower. We also appreciated the fact that we knew that if road conditions didn't allow us to return home when planned, we could have a place to stay. LOVED the gift shop.
