In the same hotel there’s a perfect place for breakfast where they have both sourdough and rye bread, which is difficult to find anywhere else. They let us do a late checkout and accommodated us with everything we needed.

Our stay was wonderful as we were there to be near the Bay with lovely views. It was very clean, the owners were friendly and helpful, the shower was great, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was great, breakfast was good, and the room could be cooled or heated as needed. We wished we didn't need to leave! FYI: the Tuan Chau area has fewer services and some of the new-ish buildings even appear to be abandoned before completion. That's not to fault the hotel, though. It actually made for a peaceful stay. Use Grab or Xanh to go to the mainland (Hanoi) for food, ATMs, etc.
