The hosts were friendly and communicative - kept me appraised of when the cottage was ready, where to find the keys and where to park. The unit was a delight, comfortable and well equipped with thoughtful touches that speaks of a host that really cares. The location suited my needs perfectly and the natural beauty that it is located in was a plus.

Located on the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg, Lake Naverone Holiday Cottages is set on large estate with 2 lakes and 7 km of river frontage. We had a fantastic stay at the lodge! The rooms were comfortable, the location was perfect and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. We were impressed by the attentive service. Looking forward to our next visit!

So beautiful with the river rushing through trees. The bed was completely luxurious and the attention to detail outstanding. The biscuits given with tea were home made, as were the scented shower bombs - just amazing. I asked for a takeaway breakfast which Tanya happily provided which was delicious. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa. Would 100% go back.

Surrounded by greenery, the Winterton Lodge @ Rose Cottage features a splash pool. Elegantly decorated, accommodation at Winterton includes a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The accommodation was amazing, comfy, cosy, lovely décor. Everything was provided for us. My brother's accommodation was perfect for him too. It was lovely to have the choice of either sitting out in the swing chair at our place, sitting up for a meal under shelter together. Or popping around to my brother's cottage and sitting on the verandah, watching and listening to the variety of birds at the damn. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Especially Sipwe and Jeanise ( sorry not sure how to spell them). It was a luxury to have our clothes laundered and ironed, thank you. The setting was very pretty and peaceful. Thank you :)

Located in Southern Drakensberg, this resort offers spacious accommodation, an outdoor pool with scenic mountain views and a well-equipped fitness centre. Everything the Gooderson resort had all the facilities for my family. We really enjoyed our holiday at Gooderson resort.

The room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great with a huge shower and tub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
